Usually, it can be calculated by the following formula: allowable error=± (measurement upper limit – measurement lower limit) x accuracy level%.
For example, a pressure gauge with a measurement range of 0-10MPa and an accuracy level of 1.6 has an allowable error of ± (10-0) × 1.6%=± 0.16MPa.
